If a name doesn’t quite match, it asks you to check. If someone isn’t in iMIS yet, you can add them on the spot. Then attendance and CPD points are logged for everyone at once, on the day or after the event. That’s your post-event afternoon back.

Keying in activity records one at a time is over. Bring your list from a saved query or a spreadsheet, and FileAway finds each person in iMIS for you. It flags anything that looks wrong and lets you add anyone who’s missing. Updating member types and statuses one contact at a time is over. Choose a group of people or organisations from a saved query or a spreadsheet, and tell RecordShift what should change. Give everyone the same new member type or status, or give each record its own from your list. You’ll see every change before it happens, and every run is logged, so you can reverse it if you need to. RecordShift only ever updates records that already exist, so it never creates duplicates.

MatchMaker

Handle duplicates

Hunting down duplicate contacts by hand is over. MatchMaker searches your whole membership, or just the part you choose, and brings likely duplicates to the surface. It matches on email, name, mobile number, postcode or organisation name. Compare each match side by side and choose which record to keep. Then merge it straight away, or save your decisions and merge them all together later. A copy of each record is saved before it’s merged. Where two records belong to different people, such as family members who share an email address, mark them once and MatchMaker remembers for your whole team.
